Review by Mario Fratti (translation follows)

Highly amusing and original "Hell' s Cuisinart" by David Caudle. Five cohesive one-acts.It begins on the fifth floor and descends to the first, introducing various types along the way. "Circled in Red"; the lively Christina Michaels shows a vacant apartment to a young couple (Michael Linstroth and Nicole Wells). Problems arise. Will they agree? We descend one flight to meet "Jolly Roger" (Jay Potter). His drag queen lover (Vincent Rutherford) accuses Roger of being ashamed of him. We descend one more flight to "A Part". The powerful Sally Fairman shares her space with the timid Ean Sheehy. She wants no intimacy with him. We descend again to "Belgian Waffling". Sexy Kristen Erwin attempts to be a willing but confused Paul Meek. She is thwarted by the arrival of her brother (Tyne Firmin) and the "Belgian" (J. Bixby Elliot). Finally, there is Helena (Leslie Nipkow) who tries unsuccessfully to seduce her distant husband (V. Rutherford). Scorned, she takes her revenge. Well directed by Andrew Volkoff. An altogether pleasant evening.
