CINDY ADAMS

“Hell’s Cuisinart,” a comedy set in an apartment in Hell’s Kitchen, opened Sunday at West 42nd’s Samuel Beckett Theater. That’s Hell’s Kitchen. At the first preview, playwright David Caudle returned from rehearsal to his Hell’s Kitchen apartment. Ninth Avenue in the 40s. Found his place broken into. Gone was his TV, VCR, microwave and toaster. Untouched? His Cuisinart.

Only in New York, kids, only in New York.
