Swing Low! by David Caudle
SYNOPSIS:
A Southern Gothic comedy of tragic proportions, very loosely based on Shakespeare’s Hamlet. Southern Georgia, 1996. 15-year-old Chase awakes to the voice of his father in a bowling trophy, ordering him to stop his mother’s wedding to his uncle, scheduled for that afternoon. When his appeal to the Pastor fails, he enlists the aid of a fitness-freak fortune teller who has her own hidden reasons for wanting the ceremony to fall through. The outcome is not what one might expect, and no one is as they seem, but the something rotten is purged without loss of human life.
