Table Paintings

Mr. Caudle created a series of paintings based on the idea of the Table as a place where people engage in the gamut of human interactions, ie fellowhip, conflict, seduction, betrayal, while watching one another engage in the intimate act of eating.  Some of the canvases are sculptural, including plates, silverware in some cases, coasters, etc.   The three-dimensional surface is then covered with two-dimensional painted imagery.   This series had a solo show at LOLA in Miami Beach.
